More specific information can be requested by contacting the Archives Research Request. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia. The broad outlines of the exhibit plan have been known for some time. In 1995, the Smithsonians National Air and Space Museum (NASM) created an exhibit to feature the Enola Gay, the B-29 bomber that dropped the first atomic bomb. The plan, however, is to present the aircraft as part of an emotionally-charged program about the atomic bomb.
